You can also request accounts for your staff members. Please be sure to include their name and email in the request.
2. Notifying your partner high schools
School counselors you work with will need access to the system to complete student recommendations, as well as generate any necessary reports.
Please email them and have them submit an access request by visiting https://applyde.laregents.edu/highschool_admin/
More information about submitting and managing high school counselor/administrator requests can be found here: Access Requests (New High School Administrators)
We also provide a user guide for these individuals to help them navigate how they may use the ApplyDE system: High School Counselor / Administrator User Guide
3. Getting ready to open student registration
Now that you've had your administrator accounts created, it's time to adjust some system settings based on your campus's needs. You'll need to:

i. Add your campus student agreement language
ii. Turn on or off parent consent (and add language if needed)
iii. Turn on or off FERPA release
3. Go to the Classes > Terms tab and add your academic terms [Add New Terms and Academic Years]
4. Upload class sections
i. Prepare your file of courses and upload into the system [Class Section Uploads]
4. Student application and class selection
This link provides a detailed guide that you can share with your students and school counselors: Student Application User Guide
5. Processing student applications
You can review student applications within the Students tab and class requests within the Students > Registrations tab.
Once you have received the recommendation and parent consent (if needed), you can mark the application request as 'Registered'.
6. Exporting student data and registration data
The system provides 2 reports to export student and registration data. These can be found within the Reports tab.
You can use these files to batch upload student data into your SIS. The system also supports integration with your SIS. Please share the attached document below with your IT to get the process started.
